[BREAKING]: Many Injured As Peaceful Protest Turns Violent In Kwara (Photos)

Many Muslims have been injured as a peaceful protest that turned violent over hijab in Kwara.

According to the reports, what began as a peaceful protest by Muslim students of Oyun Baptist High School, Ijagbo, Kwara State staged a peaceful protest on Thursday morning in front of the school premises to demand their right to use Hijab on a uniform in accordance to the Nigerian constitution and Kwara State circular snowballed into violence.

It was learned that the Muslims who are pupils of the school staged the protest to demand their right to use Hijab on the uniform but the Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) shun them, saying NO TO HIJAB in ‘their school.’

The protesters said the school hired thugs and security agents to disperse them violently. In the process, one person reportedly died,t others were injured.
