On Monday 29th, 2020, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, the convoy of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff is said to have murdered a bike rider in Katsina State, around Mani house junction within the Katsina metropolis, and the corpse of the deceased was abandoned by the roadside.
Buratai was at the Forward Operating Base, Daura, the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari, as part of efforts to combat banditry and ensure lasting peace and security in the state and the North-West region.
