The Presidential Taskforce(PTF) and the Federal Government of Nigeria held a briefing in Abuja on several measures necessary for the countries to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Thursday 18th June, The SGF pointed out that in spite of the modest progress made, the country is still not yet ready for the full reopening of the economy and said that tough decisions have to be taken for the good of the country.
Mustapha said, ”For the PTF, we share your pains but our future is in the hands of every Nigerian and future decisions will depend greatly on our compliance. Based on the recommendations of the PTF, Mr. President has approved the following’’
He urged the country to follow all the directives and Rules in preventing the spread of the virus. Bringing to light the increased number of new cases in Nigeria, Lagos state.
