A yet-to-be-identified man has lost his life after his Toyota RAV 4 rammed into a moving truck in Ogun State.
It was gathered that the accident happened at Ogere axis, along the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Thursday.
The car, marked LSR 991 FA, was on its way to Ibadan when the driver reportedly lost control due to over-speeding and rammed into a Howo truck with registration number KTU 419 XR, from behind.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Akinbiyi said the accident was caused by too much spending on the part of the SUV driver, saying “he rammed the vehicle into a slow-moving Howo truck from behind.”
He added that his body, as the lone occupant of the vehicle, was deposited at the FOS Morgue at Ipara Remo, Ogun State.
