Generators Help Businesses To Survive In Nigeria – AfDB President, Akinwumi Adesina

Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group has lamented that a paucity of energy is negatively affecting the growth of Nigerian industries.

On Tuesday, October 26, at a conference organized by the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) in Abuja, Adesina stated that no firm in Nigeria can exist without generators.

He also claimed that Nigeria’s industry will always be uncompetitive unless it takes urgent action to address its energy shortfall and reliability.

According to the President of the African Development Bank,

“Today, no business can survive in Nigeria without generators. Consequently, the abnormal has become normal.

“Unless Nigeria decisively tackles its energy deficiency and reliability, its industries will always remain uncompetitive.”

In other news, Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, was correct in warning them against supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 election that first put him to power, according to media personality Dele Momodu.
