Gerard Piqué is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Barcelona.
During Barca’s 1-0 defeat by Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Saturday, Pique was seen to have limped off the pitch following a collision with Angel Correa.
The club confirming on sunday, said;
“Tests have shown that he has a grade 3 sprain in the internal lateral ligament and partial injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee,”
There was no particular time officially for Pique’s return but reports in the Spanish press have suggested he could be out for anything between two and six months.
