The ‘Jobs Initiative Lagos’ was kicked off by the Governor of Lagos State, Gov Babajide Sanwo olu through Mr Tokunbo Wahab, Special Adviser on Education.
The initiative is set to see the training of students in entrepreneurship, basic Digital skills.The reason for these programme is to cover the lapses in the employment market and to increase the employment of graduates.
The advantage is that youths who complete the programme will be added to a free portal where they would have access into coperate organisation.
Also, “Digital Skills Initiative ” will run alongside and is targeted at empowering youths with digital skills by 2023.
The first phase of ” Jobs Initiative Lagos” kicked off in June and will continue for the next 4months leveraging a virtual learning platform while the ‘Digital Skills initiative Lagos ” will commence virtually until the ease of lockdown.
This idea is being coordinated by Loftylnc Allied Partners Limited.
