A guest named Emmanuel Ayuk, was found dead after his body was discovered on July 26 few days after he checked into the hotel.
It was gathered that the Police temporarily shut down the hotel because every means of identity or contact details of the deceased were not found.
According to sources, the hotel management failed to provide the check-in details of the deceased which shows that there might be something shady that is been hidden.
Tokunbo Aboniwonda, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Ipaja led detectives to the scene after he got the news and arrested the hotel’s manager.
According to a source, the Police suspects foul play as there was no phone in the room to contact any of the deceased’s family or any belonging in the room that belongs to the deceased.
“The manager was transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Panti, Yaba for further investigation. The hotel’s room service claimed they discovered the body days after the cleaned his room.”
