The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has a present jail term of 15 years for landlords that give their properties for rent to yahoo boys.
On June 27 the anti-graft agency made this known in a tweet.
The tweet said, “EFCC CONNECT: Be part of this interesting conversation as we discuss the implications of having your property in use by criminals, on the next edition of #EFCCConnect. Date: Wednesday, June 29 Time: 6 pm.
“Okay now! What a juicy topic! E go sweet wella! Landlord way yahoo-boy dey stay for his house, my people, na 15 years imprisonment for the landlord o! E don set!”
EFCC Connect is an open forum where the agency discusses with the members of the public.
