Police In Akwa Ibom Stopped A Man From being lynched After His Son’s Body Was Found In A Carton

A guy was attacked by a group of angry people at the Itam Timber Market in Itu Local Government Area. Police in Akwa Ibom came to his aid. When the man with the box on his head looked like he was going to a trash can, it caught the attention of people in the market. A group of traders stopped him and asked what was in the box because they were suspicious of his behavior. They found the dead body of a young boy inside, wrapped in torn clothes and not in any clothes at all.

People in the market got very angry when they found out what the man was doing and said he was doing something traditional. A video that went viral online showed the man fighting with the crowd, who told him to take the body out of the box. Police were called to the scene to help calm things down as things got worse.

The cops began an investigation as soon as they got there. The man, whose name is still unknown, told the police that he was from Anambra State and that he was going with his two children who were still alive. He told the police that in his culture, males who have died must be buried in their home town, which in this case is Anambra. He said he was going to Anambra to bury his son and that the boy had died because of something he had done.

The cops quickly took the boy’s body to a morgue to look at it more closely. The state police spokesman, ASP Timfon John, stated that the initial investigation showed there was no foul play and that the father did not hurt his son. At this point, the cops are still looking into how the child died to make sure there are no signs of abuse or neglect.
