Godwin Abah, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, has been arrested alongside two others for conniving to steal a goat before they ran out of luck.
In Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State, according to reports, the retired police officer needed a goat to celebrate his mother’s one year remembrance when he sent some boys to go and get him a goat.
However, luck was not on their side, when the boys were caught by local vigilante members who beat them mercilessly.
The suspects have been take to Orokam divisional police headquarters for further prosecution.
