A young lady identified as Vitoria Maria, 18, from Tottenham, north London was forced to launch a fundraiser to keep her university dreams alive after finding out she wasn’t eligible to receive a student loan.
The young lady secured two A*s and an A in her A-Levels last week and was set to study Maths at Warwick University – but she couldn’t afford the fees.
However, on her GoFundMe page, Taylor Swift decided to shock the young lady by donating more than half of her target which was £40,000.
After the donation, Taylor said:
“Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality.
“I want to gift you the rest of your goal amount.
“Good luck with everything you do! Love, Taylor.”
Upon seeing this, the young lady who couldn’t control her excitement said:
“My mind has been blown.
“I was wondering how to reach enough people to hit my goal and now this miracle has happened.
“I’m just over the moon.”
