The President hopes for a “democratic process in the state that will truly reflect the people’s will and power to freely choose their leaders,” the statement said.“As Ondo State gets ready for its unusually early governorship election, President Bola Tinubu tells everyone involved in politics and the voters to keep the peace, be polite, and do their jobs without fear, both before and after the elections.

Part of the statement said, “President Tinubu looks forward to a democratic process in the state that will truly reflect the people’s will and power to freely choose their leaders. “Tinubu also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for quickly getting ready for the election and sending security guards to the state to keep the peace.

“The President praises the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for working hard to get ready for the election and for getting important materials to all 18 local government areas in the state on time.”
