Finidi George, Super Eagles coach, said Nigeria must fight back and start to win games.
He said this after the surprise 2-1 loss to the republic of Benin in a 2026 world cup qualifier played in Abidjan last night, the gaffer called for commitment from his players.
“They have to show more commitment for us to start winning games. When we start winning, the fight is still on.”
“We can’t throw in the towel because we have three points from four matches.
“We will have to win games, if we win games, the battle will still be there.
“We have to find a way to get these players back in a way they can perform.”
