A woman has been left with a swollen face and black eyes after receiving a heavy punch from her husband in Warri, Delta state.
The woman identified as Omoefe Sodje, was hospitalized following the beating.
According to the reports, From her hospital bed, she sent photos showing her injuries to activist Harrison Gwamnishu. In some of the photos, she’s seen with blood running down her face. Another shows dried blood and sand on her face.
A final photo shows her with her head bandaged after receiving treatment at the hospital.
