N’golo Kante separated himself from proposals made by supporters to nominate him for the Ballon d’Or this year.
The Frenchman had a major role in Chelsea’s championship of Europe by 2020/2021. He was on the pitch against the city of Manchester everywhere
In the first stage of the Knockout phase against Atletico Madrid, the Former Leicester City Midfielder won the match award man. He earned the men’s prize in the Semifinal Challenge against Real Madrid in both legs. He also won the award in Porto’s Estadio do Dragao Stadium in the Final of Manchester City.
Ngolo Kante is now called to the Ballon d’Or later this year by many as the early candidate.
In the Metro Sport report, he said:
“The award-winning man is secondary. The work of the whole group is the key thing. It’s joy and gladness. We have battled and been honored to qualify for the finale.”
He was asked if he might be nominated this year for the Ballon d’Or. He answered: He said,
“No, for the moment, we are savoring the UEFA Champions League trophy. I will join France’s squad soon for the European Championship. I hope to win that as well”
