A 7-year-old Mexican girl simply identified as Yatziri has given up the ghost after suffering horrific injuries allegedly caused by years of abuse by her parents( father identified as Rafael and mother identified as Alejandra Viridiana) and uncle.
According to reports, the little girl died on the 28th of December at the Hospital de Las Margaritas in the Mexican state of Puebla after months in the Intensive care unit.
She was diagnosed with internal bleeding, signs of rape, back burns, and a collapsed lung after a neighbor took to her to a hospital where she died of multi-organ failure.
Upon the girls arrival at the hospital, she said:
‘I want to die, don’t heal me anymore’, adding ‘I don’t want to go back to my parents so they can keep hitting me’.
The parents have been arrested and detained and are being investigated, while the paternal uncle who raped the young girl multiple times is on the run.
Apparently, Yatziri had a three-year-old sister named Mitzy who was believed to have died of accidental asphyxiation in her sleep in June this year, and police have reopened the case in the wake of her sibling’s death.
