With a staggering 145 kg lift, Onyinyechi Mark broke the 61 kg Paralympic record in the women’s 61 kg powerlifting class.
Gold was won by Folashade Oluwafemiayo in the women’s over 86 kg powerlifting division.
With a lift of 145 kg, Bose Omolayo won silver in the women’s up to 79 kg Para-powerlifting division.
With a throw of 19.26 meters, Flora Ugwunwa won silver in the women’s javelin F54 category.

Isau Ogunkunle, who won bronze in the Men’s Singles Class 4 event, created history by becoming the first player from Nigeria to win an individual medal in Para Table Tennis since the Sydney 2000 Games.
In the women’s up to 41 kg powerlifting division, Esther Nworgu won silver.
