Ondo State Government laid down rules and protocols to be observed by every school resuming for exit students.
However, two schools did not comply with the protocols and have been sealed. The affected schools are CAC Grammar School, Ondo Road, Akure and Akure Academy, Oba- Ile.
According to Mr. Akin Asaniyan, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology the schools have been sealed for Disobeying the protocols laid out to help curb the pandemic.
Mr. Akin said some students from both schools were seen roaming the streets, clearing the bushes and staying in staying in an unclean environment.
He said:
“There is no single preparation. Therefore, the schools will remain sealed until basic things are put in place.”
“This issue of COVID -19 is unusual and strange trend and very dangerous issue, which needed prompt attention because it involves lives.
