On Friday Evening, at about 6pm, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru alongside some aides while on an official trip were involved in a plane crash in Kaduna State.
According to reports, the Military plane crashed while at the runway of the Kaduna Airport around 6:00 p.m, killing everyone onboard while it was raining heavily.
In a Tweet by Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information, he said;
“An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport
“The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details to follow soon,”
